Cripe Sports Performance Training Testimonials - Alexa Renstrom"Two years ago, as a sophomore in high school, my track and cross-country coach advised to me to incorporate strength and conditioning into my training; he referred me to Cory Cripe, CSCS. I had many problems as a beginning runner. For example: my posture was horrendous, I was always spraining an ankle, and I had tendonitis in one knee or the other. Cory has been training me for two-and-a-half years now and in this short time, my posture has greatly improved, my tendonitis is gone, and I have accomplished two goals that would not have been possible without such a qualified trainer: placing fourth at the WIAA State Track Meet in the 1600m run and placing seventh at the WIAA State Cross-Country meet. I am a more knowledgeable, and better runner from working through CSPT. Sure, to be a runner, one must run, but Cory has taught me that strength and conditioning is just as important. Cory’s training philosophy has helped me tremendously, and I recommend that if anyone wants to accomplish his/her goals, Cory can help."

"Training is very important in my lifestyle. I've always been one to challenge myself physically, but the summer before my sophomore year at La Crosse Central, I wanted to take my training to the next level. My teammate Alexa Renstrom was working with Cory for quite some time and I noticed how much she improved with her running performance during her track season because of her extra training.

I was having problems with my hips when I ran. I went to the doctor multiple times to try to find the source to this hip problem; they believed my hips were weak. I couldn't even run over 30 minutes before having my hip "pop out," but working with Cory, the symptoms disappeared.

Cory's whole program is focused on strengthening my core and perfecting my running style. This doesn't mean just my abs but everything, the whole body is engaged during every work-out. Even after the first few sessions I could already feel the results. (I was a little sore!?) After more and more work-out sessions were completed I was able to get through full work-outs, up to an hour of running, without hip problems. I feel stronger, faster, and more confident in my running. So, I not only became stronger physically but mentally, too.

Cory doesn't just train you but becomes a mentor. He makes training fun but still finds a way to push you to do your best. My core is strong, my stride is shorter, my form is in the midst of perfection, and most off all my times are getting faster which is the best improvement for myself overall because that's why I train.

If you are willing to work hard and want to improve your performance in anyway, Cory is a great trainer who is very flexible to fit your needs. He is able to focus on anything you want to improve.
